Food Committee Mission Statement

Responsible for the coordination of food and non-alcoholic beverages in support of Board approved events. 

  • Plan menus and solicit volunteers if required.
  • Prepare/buy food and non-alcoholic beverages, where required for serving at the location of planned events; maintain record of items for historical purposes.
  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of facilities and equipment.
  • Purchase & maintain an inventory of condiments, plates, napkins & utensils.
  • Where required, items purchased for an approved activity require submission of original receipts/invoices to the Treasurer for reimbursement within 7 days of the purchase.
  • If needed, liaise with the Board to create the marketing information for any food and beverages needs (i.e.: email notifications).
